Research and Development
Strong, practioner-oriented research is the basis of all meaningful academic value-creation. We at the Lorange Institute of Business focus on bringing this thought leadership into the business school's programs - fast!
It is the interface between propositional knowledge - in the form of pratitioner-relevant research put forward by faculty - and prescriptive knowledge - representing "real practice" put in forward by leading practitioners from corporations all over the world - that leads to strong, grounded theory-building research progress.
Much of this research will be cross-disciplinary and eclectic in nature - in contrast with more traditional, axiomatic and discipline based research, which is perhaps less dominant and less effective than before as a source of inspiration fopr new knowledge for the learning partnership.
